The GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka watch order centers on the 43-episode main series, with the Shounan Junai Gumi OVA rounding it out. Start with Episodes 1-43, which follow ex-biker Onizuka's run as a high-school teacher from beginning to end, then watch the Shounan Junai Gumi OVA, which spotlights his earlier delinquent days. Since the series is a single continuous run, the correct order is simply the 43 episodes first, followed by the OVA. If you're wondering where to start, Episode 1 is the entry point, and the OVA works as a companion piece once you've finished the main show. That makes GTO easy to watch chronologically — one long season and a single OVA, with no other side content to track down or slot in between arcs along the way.
