# Hunter x Hunter Watch Order Also known as: HUNTER×HUNTER, ハンターxハンター, HxH Source: https://www.animechrono.com/franchise/hunter-x-hunter Last updated: 2026-10-27 Maintained by the AnimeChrono community. 9 entries in chronological viewing order. The Hunter x Hunter watch order moves through a 62-episode run, three OVAs, a 148-episode series, and two films in the right order. Open with Episodes 1-62, then the three OVAs — the Spider OVA, the Greed Island OVA, and the Greed Island Final OVA — continue that story before you reach the 148-episode series. The two movies, Phantom Rouge and The Last Mission, come last. Watching it this way keeps Gon's journey in chronological order and folds the OVA arcs in exactly where they pick up, so nothing feels skipped. Fans often ask where to start and whether the OVAs matter; this sequence answers both, placing every OVA and film at the point it belongs rather than leaving you to sort the older and newer material apart. Follow the blocks top to bottom for the complete Hunter x Hunter run. ## Start here Start with Episodes 1-62 (Hunter x Hunter (1999)). 3 entries are optional: Hunter x Hunter Spider OVA (Hunter x Hunter (1999)), Hunter x Hunter Greed Island OVA (Hunter x Hunter (1999)), and Hunter x Hunter Greed Island Final OVA (Hunter x Hunter (1999)).
