The My Neighbor Totoro watch order is two Studio Ghibli entries: the 1988 feature film first, then the short sequel Mei and the Baby Cat Bus. Start with the original My Neighbor Totoro, Hayao Miyazaki's classic about two sisters who move to the countryside and befriend the forest spirit Totoro — it's the essential viewing and works completely on its own. After the film, seek out Mei and the Baby Cat Bus, a brief follow-up short that reunites young Mei with the Cat Bus and was made exclusively for screening at the Ghibli Museum. Watching them in this order means you experience the full story first and treat the short as the intended epilogue. There are no other movies, OVAs or specials tied to this title, so this is the complete correct order. For most viewers the feature film alone is where to start, with the short as a charming extra afterward.

## The order
