# Sound! Euphonium Watch Order Also known as: Hibike! Euphonium Source: https://www.animechrono.com/franchise/sound-euphonium Last updated: 2026-10-30 Last checked against current sources: 2026-10-30 AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special in chronological story order, mark optional entries, say where to start, and are maintained by signed-in fans with versioned edits that can be reverted (11 entries in this order). The Sound! Euphonium watch order mixes TV seasons with films, and two of the films carry the main story, so the order matters. Start with Season 1 (Episodes 1-13) and Season 2 (Episodes 1-13), which cover Kumiko's first year in the Kitauji High School concert band. The film after each season, Welcome to the Kitauji High School Concert Band and May the Melody Reach You!, is a recap you can skip, and the Ready, Set, Monaka OVA is a light side story. Kumiko's second year is told only in films: Liz and the Blue Bird, an optional spin-off about Mizore and Nozomi, and Our Promise: A Brand New Day, which is essential. The Ensemble Contest special bridges into Season 3 (Episodes 1-13), Kumiko's final year as band president. The two-part Final Movie released in 2026 retells Season 3 with a new script and new scenes, and is optional. Following this chronological order keeps every audition and contest in sequence. ## Recommended first watch Watch Season 1 (13 episodes), Season 2 (13), the film Our Promise: A Brand New Day (2019), the Ensemble Contest special (2023), then Season 3 (13). The 2016 and 2017 films are recaps, and Liz and the Blue Bird is an optional spin-off set alongside Our Promise. The 2026 Final Movie retells Season 3 with new scenes. ## Start here Start with Episodes 1-13 (Sound! Euphonium). 6 entries are optional: Sound! Euphonium: Ready, Set, Monaka, Sound!
