# Trigun Watch Order Also known as: Trigun Stampede, Trigun Stargaze, Trigun: Badlands Rumble Source: https://www.animechrono.com/franchise/trigun Last updated: 2026-10-31 Last checked against current sources: 2026-10-30 AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special in chronological story order, mark optional entries, say where to start, and are maintained by signed-in fans with versioned edits that can be reverted (4 entries in this order). The Trigun watch order has two paths. The 1998 Madhouse series, Trigun (Episodes 1-26), follows Vash the Stampede, a pacifist gunman with a huge bounty on his head, across a desert planet with insurance agents Meryl and Milly and the priest Wolfwood. Trigun: Badlands Rumble (2010) is an optional stand-alone film set around episodes 10-12, best watched after the series. The second path is Orange's CG reboot: Trigun Stampede (Episodes 1-12, 2023), which retells Vash's story from the start with big changes, then Trigun Stargaze (Episodes 1-12, 2026), its final season, set two and a half years later. Watch either path: the 1998 series is a complete, anime-original take that ends before the manga does, while Stampede and Stargaze are a separate, complete retelling. ## Recommended first watch Two complete paths: Trigun (1998, 26 episodes), then the optional Badlands Rumble film; or the reboot, Trigun Stampede (12) then Trigun Stargaze (12). They do not continue each other, so either is a fine start. ## Start here Start with Episodes 1-26 (Trigun (1998)). 3 entries are optional: Trigun: Badlands Rumble, Episodes 1-12 (Trigun Stampede), and Episodes 1-12 (Trigun Stargaze). The story still tracks without them. Filler and skip notes: - **Trigun: Badlands Rumble** — Optional. ## The chronological order 1. Trigun (1998): Episodes 1-26 2.
