Where to start Urusei Yatsura: begin with the 2022 remake, Season 1 episode 1, for a modern version that tells the whole story in 46 episodes, or with the 1981 TV series, episode 1, for the classic. This Urusei Yatsura watch order lists both continuities. The 1981 version is the TV series (Episodes 1-195), eleven OVAs and six films. Only You, Beautiful Dreamer, Remember My Love, Lum the Forever and Always My Darling are stand-alone side stories you can watch in any order, while Movie 5, The Final Chapter (1988), adapts the manga's last arc and is the real ending, so it comes after the TV series. The 2022 remake (Season 1, Episodes 1-23, and Season 2, Episodes 1-23) restarts from the beginning and ends with the same Boy Meets Girl arc. It does not connect to the 1981 series or films. ## Recommended first watch New viewers: watch the 2022 remake, Season 1 (23 episodes) and Season 2 (23).
