Fate Watch Order
14 entries · · community-maintained
Also known as Fate/stay night
This is the Fate watch order in chronological, in-universe order. It opens with Fate/Zero, the prequel about the Fourth Holy Grail War, then follows the Fifth war ten years later through three tellings: Studio DEEN's 2006 Fate/stay night, ufotable's Unlimited Blade Works with its Sunny Day OVA, and the three Heaven's Feel films (Presage Flower, Lost Butterfly and Spring Song). The Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya spin-off and its OVAs close the list. Watching for the first time? Most fans start with Unlimited Blade Works instead and save Fate/Zero for after Heaven's Feel, as the recommendation above explains. Apocrypha, Grand Order, EXTRA Last Encore, Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files and strange Fake are separate stories, listed under Side branches.
