Also known as Kenpuu Denki Berserk, Berserk (1997)
The Berserk watch order combines the 1997 series' 25 episodes, the three Golden Age Arc movies, and the two 12-episode 2016 and 2017 seasons. Begin with the original 25-episode series, then watch the Golden Age trilogy — Egg of the High King, The Battle for Doldrey, and Descent — which retells and extends that arc on the big screen. After the movies, continue into the first 12-episode modern season and the second 12-episode season to carry the story forward. Following this chronological order lets the films bridge the classic series and the later seasons instead of leaving them stranded. If you want the correct order including all three movies rather than just the TV runs, watch the 1997 episodes first, then the Golden Age films, then the two newer seasons in turn.

AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.

Start with either the 1997 series (25 episodes) or the three Golden Age films (2012-13). Both cover the Golden Age arc, so you only need one of them before the 2016 series. Then watch Berserk (2016, 12 episodes) and Berserk (2017, 12 episodes), which continue after the Golden Age. The anime stops partway through the manga, so the story is unfinished on screen.
Either. The 1997 series (25 episodes) and the three Golden Age films (February 2012, June 2012, February 2013) both cover the Golden Age arc. The films are newer and shorter; the series also includes the Black Swordsman storyline. Watching both is optional.
After the Golden Age, whichever version you watched. Berserk (2016) has 12 episodes (July 2016) and Berserk (2017) has 12 episodes (April 2017), and they continue the story rather than retell it.
