Chiikawa Watch Order
2 entries · · community-maintained
The Chiikawa watch order starts with the ongoing television series and adds one feature film, laying out the correct order for both. Begin with the Chiikawa episodes, the short slice-of-life comedy from Doga Kobo that follows the small round cast through their gentle daily misadventures, and watch them in release order as the series is still airing. The film, Chiikawa: Ningyo no Shima no Himitsu, comes after the series and works best once you already know the characters, so save it for after you have caught up on the episodes. Since the show is ongoing, new episodes will continue to extend this order over time. If you are wondering where to start, the series comes first and the movie follows, which keeps everything in chronological order and ensures the film's story lands with the context the episodes provide.

How this order works
AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
