The Danganronpa watch order interleaves the anime with the games, so the correct order actually starts with the first game on Steam before any episodes. After playing it, watch the 13-episode Danganronpa: The Animation, then play the next entries on Steam to stay in step with the story. From there, watch the two paired arcs — the twelve-episode block and the eleven-episode block, which are meant to be alternated — followed by the single finale episode and the standalone OVA. Finish with the last game on Steam to close out the saga. Because the franchise mixes visual-novel games and anime, the where-to-start answer is the original game, not the show. If you only want the animated portions, the three episode blocks, the single episode and the OVA are your path, but the games fill the gaps the anime skips over.
