The Death Parade watch order opens with the short film Death Billiards, then continues into the 12-episode television series. Watch Death Billiards first — it aired as a standalone pilot and sets up the concept before the series proper expands on it — then move into episodes 1 through 12. That is the entire franchise: one short and one season, with no additional movies, OVAs or specials to track down. Where to start is the short, not episode 1, and that ordering matters, since Death Billiards works as an effective introduction to the world even though the series does not strictly require it. After the pilot, the twelve episodes run straight through to the finale with nothing to interleave. For the correct order including everything available, it is simply Death Billiards followed by the full season, watched back to back.

#1 · 1 entry
Death Billiards — a standalone ~25-min prequel pilot from 2013 that established the world later expanded into Death Parade. Recommended as a prologue before the series; alternatively slot it between episodes 6 and 7 of the TV run. Optional but sets the tone.

#2 · 1 entry
The main 12-episode TV series. Watch in release order — this is the essential viewing. Episode 1 covers similar ground to Death Billiards with new characters, so the pilot is enriching but not required.
