Durarara!! Watch Order
12 entries · · community-maintained
Also known as DRRR!!
The Durarara!! watch order interleaves four television cours with several OVA specials, and getting the correct order means dropping each special into its proper gap. Start with Episodes 1-12, then the Heaven's Vengeance special, before continuing to Episodes 13-24 and the World at Peace special that closes the first series. The X2 seasons follow: Episodes 1-4, the hot-pot special and Episodes 5-12 make up Shou; then a full 12-episode block with the Onoroke Chakapoko OVA make up Ten; and finally Episodes 1-7, the Dufufufu!! OVA and Episodes 8-12 complete Ketsu. Set in Tokyo's Ikebukuro district, this ensemble mystery rewards watching in chronological order because its overlapping storylines and dullahan-driven intrigue build across every cour. If you are unsure where to start, Episode 1 of the original series is the entry point, and each OVA belongs exactly where it is placed between the episode blocks.

How this order works
AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
