Also known as Koukyoushihen Eureka Seven, Psalms of Planets Eureka Seven, Eureka Seven AO, Eureka Seven Astral Ocean, Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution, Pocket Full of Rainbows, Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers
Where to start Eureka Seven: begin with the 2005 TV series, episode 1. Watch Eureka Seven (Episodes 1-50), then the sequel Eureka Seven AO (Episodes 1-24, 2012), then the Hi-Evolution film trilogy (2017-2021). This Eureka Seven watch order follows the story. The TV series is the core: Renton Thurston, the pilot Eureka and the Gekkostate crew. Pocket Full of Rainbows (2009), released in English as Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers, retells the characters in a different world and is optional. Eureka Seven AO follows Ao, Eureka and Renton's son; its OVA is a light side story and the 2017 Final Episode ONA expands the ending. The Hi-Evolution trilogy, Hi-Evolution 1, ANEMONE and EUREKA, starts by retelling the TV story and then goes its own way, so watch it last.
Start with Eureka Seven (50 episodes), then Eureka Seven AO (24).
Finish with the Hi-Evolution films: Hi-Evolution 1, ANEMONE and EUREKA.
Pocket Full of Rainbows is an optional alternate-universe film; the AO OVA and Final Episode ONA are optional extras.

AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
