Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash Watch Order
3 entries · · community-maintained
Also known as Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, Grimgar
The Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash watch order is a single 12-episode season with one OVA tucked inside it. Start with Episodes 1-2, then watch the Staking Our Youths on the Bath Wall - One More Centimeter OVA before continuing with Episodes 3-12. The OVA is a light side-story that fits neatly after the opening pair of episodes, which is why it slots in there rather than at the end of the run. If you'd rather stick to the main plot, you can watch all twelve episodes straight through and save the OVA for later, but the intended chronological order places it between Episodes 2 and 3. Either way, Episode 1 is where to start, and this covers the complete anime run including the OVA for the full A-1 Pictures adaptation.

How this order works
AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
