Junjou Romantica Watch Order
4 entries · · community-maintained
Also known as Junjo Romantica
The Junjou Romantica watch order threads three seasons together with a couple of OVAs, and this is the correct order to follow all three romance arcs. Kick off with the Junjou Romantica Special, then move into the first season, Episodes 1-12, followed immediately by the second season's Episodes 1-12. After that pair, watch the Junjou Romantica OVAs before finishing with the third season, Episodes 1-12. Keeping the OVAs positioned between the second and third seasons preserves the character beats across the Romantica, Egoist, and Terrorist couples. This chronological sequence makes sure you catch every side story where it belongs rather than saving the extras for the end. If you were unsure where to start or how the specials fit around the main episodes, this order lays out all 36 episodes plus the bonus content in the sequence longtime fans recommend.

How this order works
AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
