The Ranma ½ watch order covers two complete adaptations of Rumiko Takahashi's manga: the 1989 anime with its 161 episodes, three movies and OVAs, and the 2024 MAPPA remake, which now has three seasons. They're separate retellings of the same story, so choose one as your starting point rather than watching them as one continuous timeline. For the classic, start with the first 18 episodes and carry straight on into episodes 19 to 161. Big Trouble in Nekonron, China fits best after episode 100 and Nihao My Concubine after episode 136, though both also work once the series is finished. After the TV run, watch the OVAs, Reawakening Memories, the third movie and the SUPER OVAs, which adapt manga chapters the series never reached. The 2008 Nightmare! Incense of Deep Sleep special comes last. New to Ranma? The 2024 remake follows the manga closely, skips the original's filler and needs no prior viewing. Watch its Seasons 1, 2 and 3 in order.
