Sword Gai Watch Order
3 entries · · community-maintained
Also known as SWORDGAI The Animation, Sword Gai The Animation, ソードガイ The Animation
The Sword Gai watch order is a two-part run of 24 total episodes, split into two 12-episode seasons released on Netflix. Begin with the first season, Episodes 1-12, then continue directly into the second season's Episodes 1-12 to finish the story. There are no movies, OVAs, or specials involved, so the correct order is simply the two seasons back to back with nothing to insert between them. The supernatural action follows Gai and the cursed living weapons known as Busoma, and the narrative picks up in the second batch of episodes exactly where the first leaves off, so watching them in sequence is essential. If you are unsure where to start, the answer is Episode 1 of the first season. This page lays out both parts in order so you can track your progress across all 24 episodes without hunting for scattered side content that does not exist for this title.

How this order works
AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
