Tenchi Muyo! Watch Order

Also known as Tenchi Muyo! In Love, Tenchi Muyou! in Love, 天地無用! in Love
The Tenchi Muyo! watch order weaves together the Ryo-Ohki OVA series, two full TV series, the movies, and several specials into one chronological path through the long-running sci-fi comedy. Begin with the original Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OVA, then the TV run of Episodes 1-6, the Night Before the Carnival TV special as Episode 7, and Episodes 8-20. Continue through Ryo-Ohki OVA 2 and OVA 3 (episodes 8-20, including the Season Plus 1 chapter), then the GXP and War on Geminar series, before the 26-episode TV series that follows. The films — Tenchi Muyo! In Love and Tenchi Forever! (In Love 2) — come next, with a final 26-episode series to close. Because this franchise mixes OVAs, TV series, and movies across decades, following the correct order matters, and this page keeps every entry sequenced so you know exactly where each special and film belongs.

How this order works
AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
