The Elusive Samurai watch order is two seasons of 12 episodes each, watched in release order: Season 1 from summer 2024, then Season 2, which ran from July to October 2026. There are no movies or OVAs to slot in, so the chronological order and the airing order are the same thing. Where to start is easy: Season 1, episode 1. CloverWorks' adaptation of Yusei Matsui's manga follows the young heir Tokiyuki Hojo through the fall of the Kamakura shogunate, and Season 2 continues directly from the first season's final episode. The two seasons together run 24 episodes, about ten hours, which makes this one of the easier historical anime to catch up on in a weekend. Some trackers also list a short interlude TV special.
