The Ideon: Be Invoked Watch Order
3 entries · · community-maintained
Also known as THE IDEON: Hatsudou-hen, THE IDEON 発動篇
The Ideon: Be Invoked watch order gathers the complete 39-episode TV series and both theatrical films — The Ideon: A Contact and The Ideon: Be Invoked — for the full run of Sunrise's tragic mecha epic. This page lists the compilation film Be Invoked, the 39-episode series covering episodes 1–39, and the A Contact film so you can see how the movies relate to the broadcast run. For most viewers the series is the heart of the story, tracking the crew of the Solo Ship and the enigmatic Ideon giant; the films recap and, in the case of Be Invoked, complete the ending the TV production couldn't fully air. If you want the correct order for the whole saga, the 39 episodes form the spine, with A Contact serving as a condensed retelling and Be Invoked delivering the famously apocalyptic finale.

How this order works
AnimeChrono watch orders put every season, movie, OVA, ONA and special for a franchise in chronological story order, the order the events happen. When an OVA or movie takes place partway through a season, the episode range is split so it sits where it belongs. Entries you can skip are marked optional, and each order says where to start. Release order, sorted by air date, is a secondary view once every entry has a date. The orders began as a hand-curated set, and episode counts and air dates come from AniList. Fans maintain the orders from there. Any signed-in user can edit one. Edits from trusted contributors go live right away and the rest are reviewed first. Every change is versioned and can be reverted, and each order shows when it was last updated and last checked.
